The good news is that Crossplay is now available, Fatshark revealed the news with the announcement of the Rejects Unite content update.
It did take several months to arrive, but as of June 28, 2023, players across Steam, Microsoft Windows Store, and Game Pass for PC can team up, as revealed in patch 11's notes. Console versions haven't yet been released, and there have been no updates on when that might happen.
