World of Warcraft: Dragonflight Season 3 Content
WoW: Dragonflight Season 3's content follows a similar structure to that of past seasons. The new Amirdrassil, The Dream's Hope raid will be introduced, pitting us against nine bosses.
At its climax, we get to face Fyrakk, but another notable addition is that of the first Dragonriding encounter.
The Mythic+ dungeon pool will be refreshed, focusing on both Dragonflight dungeons and a new selection of dungeons from older expansions. Here is the full list, as shared by Blizzard:
- Dawn of the Infinite: Galakrond's Fall
- Dawn of the Infinite: Murozond's Rise
- Waycrest Manor (Battle for Azeroth)
- Atal'Dazar (Battle for Azeroth)
- Darkheart Thicket (Legion)
- Black Rook Hold (Legion)
- The Everbloom (Warlords of Draenor)
- Throne of the Tides (Cataclysm)
In terms of seasonal rewards we can earn two new titles – "the Dreaming" and "the Dreaming Hero" –, dungeon teleports, alongside the Verdant Armoredon coloration of the Mythic+ mount.
A new PvP season is also expected to go live with a new set of cosmetic rewards, mounts, and achievements.
Arena enthusiasts can secure a new title – "Verdant Gladiator" – while Rated Solo Shuffle offers the "Verdant Legend" title.
A new weapon illusion, tabard, cloak, pennant, weapon appearances, alongside the Verdant Gladiator's Slitherdrake dragonriding appearance, and new Vicious mounts – Moonbeasts for each faction – are also part of the PvP rewards earnable during WoW: Dragonflight's Season 3.
The developer is also experimenting on the PTR with Battleground Blitz, an 8v8 solo mode it describes as its "first foray into what could potentially become solo queue rated battlegrounds in the future."
As per the PTR notes, you can queue either solo or as a duo, if one player is a healer.
Existing PvP mechanics will be tweaked to facilitate quicker 10-12 minute matches. To this extent, the cast time to capture objectives will be reduced, while control points will be captured twice as quickly after being contested.
A buff also grants a large increase to mounted movement speed, while several maps are getting new power up runes. These specific details are subject to change leading up to launch, but still provide a good amount of insight on what Blizzard currently has planned for the mode.
